The island of Poros is cloaked in a dense vegetation of pines that hug the many beaches fringing the water’s edge, providing shade and shelter from the breeze. There are stunning views in all directions and in Poros town picturesque, white-washed houses with terracotta roofs spill down to the colourful harbour where there are plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants overlooking the boats and ferries as they cross the busy waterway.
