Nerja is a delightful coastal town situated in a valley of fruit orchards. Parador de Nerja is an oasis of peace and tranquility, set in large gardens with direct access to the beach below and close to the town.

ANDALUCIA has a wealth of interesting places to visit, especially out of high season. Throughout the year excursions are available to GRANADA in its magnificent setting backed by the peaks of the SIERRA NEVADA and the famous ALHAMBRA; spectacular RONDA and its deep gorge; CORDOBA with its old quarter, narrow streets and great mosque; and GIBRALTAR, which are all within 2-3 hours drive.

Another lovely excursion going towards Granada is into the hills of LA ALPUJARRAS, just below the Sierra Nevada, where the scenery is spectacular around the hill villages of PAMPANEIRA, BUBION and CAPILEIRA.

The historical centre of NERJA has narrow, winding alleyways full of shops, cafés, tapas bars and a huge choice of restaurants, the nearest being about 3 minutes walk from the Parador. In the centre is the Balcon de Europa, an attractive tree-lined promenade, jutting out into the sea, with splendid views of the coast and surrounding mountains.

Just six km from Nerja is the pretty hill village of FRIGILIANA with its Moorish architecture, white washed houses, colourful flowers, narrow cobbled streets, wines, pottery and cafés.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
We have arranged VIP taxi transfers from Malaga Airport and return. The journey takes about one hour.
