Pod Berlami Lodge is in a tree-lined street a few minutes walk through a park to the pedestrianised centre of the delightful small town of ZAKOPANE. Here you will stay for four nights with breakfast and dinner included. Throughout this area of Poland there are lovely views of the TATRA MOUNTAINS, wooden houses and churches, horse drawn farm carts, hand cut stooks of hay and friendly smiling people.
Owned by the second oldest university in Europe, the Jagiellonian University of Krakow, Pod Berlami **(pronounced Berwahmi) has 21 rooms on 3 floors. Jacek and Margaret Morawski manage Pod Berlami and take particular and personal care of our guests, and all the arrangements for tours whilst you are in Zakopane. This is one of the best areas in Europe for walking with the famous TATRA NATIONAL PARK nearby and Zakopane’s Priests Park just 10 minutes from Pod Berlami Lodge.
From Zakopane there is a two hour transfer to KRAKOW. This superb medieval city centre is one of the treasures of Europe. Within the 8 km green belt of trees and walks which surround the old city, are magnificent churches, houses, palaces and squares. Hours can be spent exploring this lovely city on foot and the great Market Square in its centre has good restaurants, shops, and outdoor cafés.
Three nights with breakfast will be spent at
The Grand Hotel ****, only two minutes walk from Market Square and ideally situated for exploring the old town. Built in the 19th Century, The Grand is one of the best hotels in the centre of Krakow.
