This unique island country defined by its geographical isolation from the continental mass of Africa is home to 5% of the worlds plant and animal species, around 75% of which are found nowhere else on earth. Our 'once in a lifetime' tour will reveal landscapes of lush rainforest, diverse flora and fauna, arid spiny forest and the beautiful untouched south eastern coastline with pure sand beaches. As well as an amazing number of indigenous animals, such as many varieties of lemur - including the dancing sifakas, birds, chameleons, lizards and crocodiles. There will also be an opportunity to visit local villages and experience the culture of the smiling, friendly Malagasy people and their fascintaing relaxed way of life.
