En route Udaipur to JODHPUR you will stop at Ranekpur. The Temples at RANEKPUR are the largest JAIN TEMPLES in India, covering nearly 4,500 square yards. Built over 500 years ago, the Jain Temples have detailed and intricate carving on marble which can be compared to lacework rather than sculpture. Architecturally, the temples are magnificent with great emphasis on light and shadow, so that as the sun’s rays alight on different features of the buildings, the hues and colours of the marble merge from gold to pale blue.

JAIPUR, also known as the ‘rose pink city’ is pretty chaotic, but with a charm of its own. The famous AMBER FORTRESS PALACE, ‘the Sleeping Beauty of Rajasthan’, nestles on a hilltop and you will travel gracefully up to the fort by elephant. Here you will stay for 3 nights at the Rambagh Palace – a true palace steeped in history. For nearly two centuries the Rambagh Palace was home for generations of royals. In 1925 it became the residence of the Maharajah of Jaipur and remained the home of the royal family until 1957 when it was converted into a luxury hotel. Whilst at the Rambagh Palace, a sightseeing city tour is included.
One of the finest tiger reserves in India is located at RANTHAMBORE where you will stay for 2 nights at the TAJ SAWAI MADHOPUR LODGE. Nestled amidst 12 tranquil acres of lush gardens, this charming 70 year old hunting lodge is located 20 minutes drive from RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK, famous for its tigers. In the park Sambar deer, crocodile, Sloth bear, leopard and many species of bird can also be seen and you may be lucky to see the famous tigers.
Your journey will continue to AGRA, stopping at the amazing red sandstone palaces and buildings of the deserted city of FATEHPUR SIKRI on the way.
