Croatia's southern Dalmatian coastline is famous for being a region of beautiful coves, forested islands and rugged coastline. Slano is truly one of the country's most beautiful bays with tranquil turquoise sea, beautiful sandy beaches and natural flora. Peace and tranquillity reign here making it an ideal location for a relaxing summer holiday.

Croatia is blessed with over 1100 islands, an unspoilt coastline edged by the clean, clear adriatic sea, forests and mountains, villages of old stone houses and of course – historic Dubrovnik. When you see the natural splendours and many places of interest, it is easy to understand why Croatia has a special place in many people’s heart.

The beautiful natural bay of Slano is situated only 30 km from Dubrovnik. Typical lush Mediterranean vegetation with forests of pine trees and olives surrround the bay. There are lovely sandy beaches making this the ideal place for total relaxation.

Slano has been inhabited since ancient times and there is evidence of this around the bay including a Roman sarcophagus from the 5th Century, a Franciscan monastery and church from the 14th Century and also numerous other churches and chapels.

While in Slano you will have the opportunity of visiting other interesting places in Croatia including of course the enchanting, historic city of Dubrovnik which dates back to the 13th Century and remains virtually unchanged to the present day.

You may wish to join a tour to MOSTAR in Bosnia Herzegovina and also neighbouring MONTENEGRO to see this lovely area with its atmospheric towns and villages.

Exploring the beautiful, clear waters of the Adriatic and the ELAFITI ISLANDS (an archipelago of 13 islands) by boat, is a great way to see the wonderful Croatian coastline and this can be easily arranged.

There are delighful walks in both directions from the hotel all around the bay and the little village of Slano has a couple of shops and local restaurants.

You will be met at the airport by our local Representative and transferred to the hotel (approximately one and a quarter hours).

Our Representatiove will also visit you at the hotel during your stay to arrange any optional excursions/boat trips you may wish to join and to help make your stay an enjoyable one. who will visit you at the hotel.
